Authenticity and Tradition
The main goal of this project is to support the SMEs that produce this cheese in the internationalization process and in conquering new markets identified as strategic, namely Germany, France, Spain, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
It means to contribute to the acknowledgement and notoriety of the product in these markets and provide critical knowledge and skills to the operators in this sector.
Its activities plan comprises diagnoses, market studies, marketing and international communication, participation in benchmark fairs, prospection of importers and clients, inverse missions of importers and opinion makers, several initiatives for the empowerment of the companies and many other initiatives.
This project is co-promoted by AproSerpa and the Associação de Defesa do Património de Mértola, with the close cooperation and support of the Municipality of Serpa, and is co-financed by Alentejo2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund.
